Presentation at the Time Machine Organisation Community Showcase
On May 29, Jordi Sabater-Mir presented our work on the interaction between artificial entities and humans at the Time Machine Organisation (https://www.timemachine.eu/) Community Showcase. This online event series, held within the Time Machine Academies, is designed as a shared space for members of the Time Machine Organisation (TMO) network to present and discuss their work. The IIIA-CSIC has been a regular member of the TMO since 2020.
Jordi presented a framework to simulate and populate 3D historical and archaeological environments, which we are currently developing at the SocialMinds lab. This same framework is also used in training activities and involves highly expressive avatars that use both natural language and non-verbal communication elements to interact with humans.
