Núria Vallès-Peris explores the social, political, and ethical controversies surrounding robotics and artificial intelligence in healthcare and education, integrating the study of imaginaries and infrastructures. She is a tenured scientist at the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute of the Spanish National Research Council, a research member of the Barcelona Science and Technology Studies Group (STS-B) and an adjunct professor in the Department of Social Psychology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
